Recently renovated 100 year old Adobe house with views of Sleeping Lion mountain. Located in the heart of historic Fort Davis on a quiet side street just three blocks from State Street, Agave House was completely renovated in 2021 to a very high standard. The interior is contemporary with a Sante Fe influence, featuring vaulted beamed ceilings in the living room as well as a wood burning fireplace. Original art in the form of paintings and wall hangings is displayed throughout the house. The well-equipped kitchen is all new with dramatic concrete counter tops and stainless steel appliances. The main bedroom has a king bed, sitting area, walk in closet and a private porch. The en-suite bathroom has a luxurious shower and a claw foot tub for your enjoyment. The second bedroom has a queen bed and shares the main en-suite bath. Bedroom 3 has two twins and its own bath with shower. There are multiple outdoor seating areas with views of the surrounding mountains and historic neighborhood. The house also includes a car port. Marfa and the McDonald Observatory are both about a 20 minute drive from Agave House.

The casita has everything you need to get away from it all. Sleep in or have early coffee and watch the wildlife. One can choose to have dinner in town or cook and have a quiet dinner in the casita. Stargazing is beautiful here in the Davis Mountains. The casita has a kitchen/dining area with seating for 4, refrigerator, stove/oven, microwave, coffee pot. This 1935 “tourist court” has 14 rooms of which two are suites, plus 6 “camp rooms” easily described as a step above camping complete with two twin beds made with thick comforters and full showers and bath facilities down the porch from your room. All of the motel rooms have flat screen TVs. The seasonal swimming pool, not heated, was completed in the summer of 2007 which is located off of a patio with a fire pit and landscaped area for relaxation. Located in the middle of Fort Davis. Non Smoking. Pet friendly.
