Agave House

Recently renovated 100 year old Adobe house with views of Sleeping Lion mountain. Located in the heart of historic Fort Davis on a quiet side street just three blocks from State Street, Agave House was completely renovated in 2021 to a very high standard. The interior is contemporary with a Sante Fe influence, featuring vaulted beamed ceilings in the living room as well as a wood burning fireplace. Original art in the form of paintings and wall hangings is displayed throughout the house. The well-equipped kitchen is all new with dramatic concrete counter tops and stainless steel appliances. Davis Mountains State Park

Developed facilities south of State Highway 118 include restrooms with and without showers; campsites with water; campsites with water and electricity; campsites with water, electricity, sewer, and cable TV connection. The northern half of the park, north of State Highway 118, has been designated, the Limpia Canyon Primitive Area, a special use area (fee required). Currently, it includes 11 miles of back country hiking and equestrian trails with primitive campsites, a secured parking area, a host campsite.
