Frontier Christmas Parade and Shopping

Fort Davis Chamber of Commerce will be presenting Frontier Christmas in Fort Davis, TX 12/9/23. With a multitude of events, they are seeking participation in Frontier Christmas in a variety of ways.

The Chamber is looking for those who are able to participate in the Holiday Lighting Contest. Contest is open to businesses and homes alike. Please submit your address prior to the event no later than 12/4 to director@fortdavis.com. Judging will occur December 8th, and winners to be announced at the main event December 9th.

The main event slate begins December 9th with the Old Western Christmas parade. The Chamber is seeking floats and participants in the parade. Line up will begin at 4-5PM on E. Cavalry Rd. Next to the St. Joseph Catholic Church. If possible, please RSVP as a participant with the Chamber at director@fortdavis.com.

Following the parade, the downtown area will serve as a local hub for more events. Christmas tree lighting will be at 6PM. Following the lighting there will be a holiday movie on the lawn TBD. The Chamber will be providing horse-drawn buggy rides to view (local) participants in the Holiday Lighting Contest. Downtown businesses are encouraged to open their doors to the general public for holiday shopping and refreshments.
