Max Kandler Tells Carpenter Family History

The Fort Davis Historical Society begins its 2018 Lecture Series with the return of one of their most popular speakers, Max Kandler. Max will share his fascinating discoveries on the history of the Carpenter family, Monday January 15 at the Jeff Davis County Library at 7:30PM. After decades at Dayton’s Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Houston’s Space Center, and the Cape Canaveral launch site, Max retired from helping astronauts with their space suits to assume the life of a mild-mannered photographer and digital restorer of mysterious old photographs in Fort Davis.
